Alicia Velazquez Torres

Alicia Velazquez Torres, 24, passed away April 18 from injuries suffered in an auto accident.

Alicia was a 2011 graduate of North Forsyth High School.  She attended North Georgia College two years and was planning a career in skin care. 

Alicia worked in the after-school program at Chestatee Elementary School and as a Barista at Starbuck’s in Cumming.

Alicia was preceded to Heaven by her maternal grandmother Mildred Horton and is survived by her husband Lucas Federico Torres; parents Olivia and Ramiro Velazquez; sister Ana Velazquez; brother Richard Velazquez and maternal grandfather Jack Horton.   

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2017 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.   Rev. Stacey Philips will officiate.  Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-8:00 p.m.
