David Pethel

Mr. David Pethel age 53 of Talmo, Ga. died Monday September 28, 2015 at the Athens Regional Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Sunday at the Little-Davenport Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Frankie Spivey will officiate and the family will visit immediately following the service at thye funeral home.

Mr. Pethel was a graduate of Jefferson High School and The Gupton Jones College of Funeral service in Atlanta, Ga. Mr.Pethel was a longtime resident of Jackson county and lived for many years in the Atlanta area, he was a very talented singer and traveled to many places with his gospel trio. He was preceded in death by his father - Paul Pethel.

Surviving include his Mother - Pat Ferguson Gunnells of Commerce and Sisters, Beverly and Amy. as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.
