Frances M (Ellison) Anglin

Frances Anglin, 89, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a period of declining health.

Born on October 23, 1925 in Birmingham, AL., she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Lillian Ellison. Mrs. Anglin had lived in this area for 50 years. She was a homemaker and attended Gainesville First United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ivan J. Anglin and her brother.

Mrs. Anglin (affectionately known as Mimi by her kids, grandkids and great grandkids) is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Mike and Marguerite Parker of Destin, FL., Steve and Kay Parker of Decatur, AL., Robert and Joan Parker of Gainesville, GA., Ben and Debbie Parker of Gainesville, GA.; daughter and son in law, Kristina and Rick Viens of Cumming, GA.; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; niece Robin Ellison of Napa CA and lifelong best friend, Ms. Betty First of Birmingham, AL.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2014 at the First United Methodist Chapel. Interment will be in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 21, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
