Henry G. McConnell

Henry G. McConnell, 67, of Flowery Branch, died Monday September 4, 2017 at his residence.  Mr. McConnell was born August 2, 1950 in Georgetown, South Carolina to the late John and Frances McConnell.

Henry worked as a supervisor at Primex Plastics for 27 years. He enjoyed going to the mountains, and his grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Henry is preceded in death by his Son Richard Atkins, Grandson Chuck Woodard and brother, Johnny McConnell.

He is survived by his Wife of 42 years, Rose McConnell, Daughters, Jackie (Chris) Benson, Deborah Jarrard-Day, and Sisters: Barbara Ann Crib, Donna Shuler, Phyliss Blankenship, Joyce Barnhill, Diane Rogers and Frances Cohen. Brothers: Louie, Marvin, Tommy, Roger, Roland Roy and David McConnell all from Georgetown, S.C., also survived by Grandchildren, Marty & Shane Jarrard, Jennifer (Jesse) Reece, Kacee Carmichael & Rick Jackson, Great Grandchildren Chase, Gracie, Faith, Jake, Jackson, Zared & Bryson.   

Mr. McConnell’s son-in-law Chris Benson, will officiate.

Visitation will Wednesday September 6, from 2-4 and 6-8 at Little & Davenport Funeral Home.   Funeral Services will be held Thursday 11:00 a.m., September 7 in the funeral home chapel.
