Inez (Cain) Brock

Inez Brock, 86, of Gainesville passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 following an extended illness.

A lifelong resident of Hall County she was born on January 21, 1929.  Mrs. Brock was the daughter of the late Maynard and Bertie Satterfield Cain. She was a homemaker and a member of Dewberry Baptist Church #2.  A loving wife, mother and grandmother she will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Grover Brock.

Mrs. Brock is survived by her daughter, Sheina Bailey of Talmo; sons and daughters in law, Steve and Rita Brock of Gillsville, Stanley and Vera Brock of Pendergrass; 7 grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren; sister, Patsy Gearin of Gainesville; brother and sister in law, Donald and Sandra Cain of Gainesville; brothers Lee Cain of Clermont, Rex Cain of Gainesville and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2015 in the chapel of Little Davenport Funeral Home. The Rev. Darin Cain and Rev. Tim Strickland will officiate. Interment will follow in Harmony Hall Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday January 28, 2015 at Little Davenport Funeral Home.
