Irene Taylor (Milligan) SchmidtApril 22, 1939 ~ November 3, 2017 (age 78)
Irene Taylor Schmidt, 78, loving wife, mother and friend to many, passed away quietly on November 3rd, 2017 at Morningside Assisted Living Gainesville, Ga. Her strong will to live, to have the time to visit with family and dear friends was her wish. Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many, who even now are being changed by her witness of constant nurturing love and faith. Her signature gift was her constant smile, laughter, positive attitude, joking around, and always searching for that good game of "Hand and Foot" cards with others will never be forgotten.
Her love of flowers led her to be a gifted floral designer who won many awards throughout her career. She was able to touch the lives of many through her gift.
Married for 12 years to her wonderful husband Ken Schmidt, who filled her days with laughter and love. Irene is survived by her loving children Deborah T. Stein, and Jeff Taylor, grandchildren Karl, Kenny & Kolby Stein, Joshua and Samuel Taylor, great grandchildren Noah and Lucas Stein, Taylor Grace Stein, Alana, (great grandson ?? due in February), James, Derrick and Destiney Taylor, and Bryson and Maddox Wilkey.
