Jack Thomas Pierce

Jack Thomas Pierce, 71 of Gainesville passed away Saturday February 3, 2018.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Pierce had lived in Hall County for a number of years.  He was the son of the late James and Marguerite Grambling Pierce.  Mr. Pierce was retired from Thomas Concrete where he was a driver and trainer.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Britton Pierce, Gainesville; granddaughter, Kasey McDearies, Bradenton, FL; stepson, Danny Britton, Greeneville, TN; sister-in-law, Betty McAmis, Greeneville, TN; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ray and Mary Sharp, Robert and Vickie Sharp. all of Greeneville, TN; sisters-in-law, Brenda Sharp and Linda Sharp, both of Greeneville, TN; daughter-in-law and husband, Shelly and John Johnson, Bradenton, FL;  two special nephews, Jimmy and Michael Sharp, and a number of other nieces and nephews also survive.

Mr. Pierce is preceded in death by his parents, son, Dee McDearies, sister, Delores Pierce and stepson, Bobby Britton.

At Mr. Pierce's request his remains will be cremated and no formal services will be held.
