James Bernard Sheffield, Jr.

James Bernard Sheffield, Jr. age 52 of Gainesville, died Thursday July 27, 2017 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 pm July 30th in the Little Davenport Chapel, the Rev. Kenneth Pilcher and Rev. Bill Trotter will officiate, interment to follow in the Christian Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday July 29th  from 2 to 4 nd 6 to 8 pm.

Mr. Sheffield was born May 4, 1965 in Plant City, Florida, he was a mechanic with United Rental for many years. Mr. Sheffield was preceded in death by his father, James Sheffield, Sr., sister, Brenda Matthews, grandparents, Theo and Nettie Sheffield and Olvis and Jay Gill.

His wife, Linda Gail Sheffield,

mother, Betty Sheffield of Clermont,

his loving pet, Bailey Sheffield,

daughters and sons in laws, Lacinda and James Rider 

and Windy Ivester and Alfonso Guzman all of Cleveland,

brother, Barney Sheffield of Clermont,

6 grandkids and 7 nieces and nephews also survive.
