Larry Tate Ryder

Larry Tate  Ryder, 84 of Flowery Branch, GA passed Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mr. Ryder was the son of the late Tate and Cora Cronic Ryder.  Mr. Ryder served in the United States Air Force and was  self-employed as a mechanic.  He was a member of the Blackshear Place Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Ryder, Flowery Branch; daughters and sons-in-law, Robin and David Jones, Chestnut Mountain; Kim and Ricky Loggins, Maysville; sons, Mitch Ryder, Gainesville; James Ryder, Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Ashley Butz, Levi Loggins, Abraham Loggins and Taylor Ryder.

Mr. Ryder is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Mary and Shirley and a brother, Joel.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday January 19, 2017 at the Oakwood Cemetery. Rev. Clint Fair will officiate.  The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Thursday January 19, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers that family has asked that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 50. Memphis, TN  38101-9929 in memory of Mr. Ryder.
