Majorie Lunsford Edge

Marjorie Lunsford Edge age 85 of Gainesville, Ga. passed away Saturday October 25, 2014 at her residence. Services are scheduled for 4 pm Tuesday October 28, 2014 at the Little-Davenport Chapel, the Rev. Joseph Dover officiating and interment to follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday October 27th from 4 to 8 pm.

Mrs. Edge was born in Suches, Ga. on February 17, 1929 to the late Boss and Mamie Lunsford. She was a homemaker and worked at the New Holland Mill for several years and then at Lanier Park Hospital until she retired.  She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Suches, Ga., but had attended New Holland Methodist Church for over 50 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years - Frazier Edge, a brother - Conley Lunsford and 2 sisters - Marguarite Lunsford and Alva Watkins.

Surviving are 2 Daughters and Son in laws - Elaine and Rick Gerace,  

Glenda and Bryant Green

Son - Thomas (Tommy) Christopher Edge

Son and Daughter in law - Tim and Becki Edge all of Gainesville

Brother - Calvin Lunsford

Sister - Mertre Bramlett both of Suches

and Sister - Marie Fortenberry of Marietta

Grandchildren, Jody Reed, Andy Clark, Clay Dover, Chris Edge, Kimberly Amo, Adam Edge and Jessie Edge

8 great grandchildren also survive as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
