Margaret Hulsey Peeples, 92 of Lula passed away Saturday March 17, 2018 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center
A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Peeples was the daughter of the late Adler and Victoria Grogan Hulsey. During World War II, Mrs. Peeples worked in a defense factory for Bell Aircraft to help out with the war effort, later she worked as a dental hygienist for Dr. Ellett and Dr. Silcox before retiring from Dr. Norman Peets office. She was a charter member of Lakewood Baptist Church.
Beloved MawMaw, she was a very important part of her families lives and the lives of all that knew her. Mrs. Peeples was loved by all.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Van and Jean Peeples, Gainesville; John and Leslie Peeples, Milton; daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Jon McIntire, Clermont; grandchildren, Will and Kingsley Peeples, Gainesville; Katie and Mickey Durden, Clermont; Ross McIntire, Clermont; Cliff and Kristin McIntire, Gainesville; Hilton Peeples, Atlanta; Jack Peeples, Athens; great grandchildren, Sydney Durden, Clermont; Addison Peeples, Gainesville; Maggie Durden, Clermont; Liam Peeples, Gainesville; Wyatt Durden and Walter Durden, Clermont; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Mrs. Peeples is preceded in death by her parents, husband William Sidney "Sid" Peeples, one brother and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday March 19, 2018 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. A private family burial will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to Good News Clinics, P.O. Box 2683, Gainesville, Ga. 30503 in memory of Mrs. Peeples.
