Martha Jean (Williams) Michely

Martha Jean Michely, 64, of Gainesville died Friday, December 2, 2016. 

Born in York, SC., she was the daughter of Reid T. and Dorothy Williams of Gainesville. Jean graduated from Gainesville High School in 1970 and attended Lanier Technical College. She enjoyed ceramic art, painting, yard sales, swimming and spending time in the sun by the pool. Her sweet, fun loving free spirit will be missed by all.

In addition to her parents Jean was preceded in death by her sister, Jane Henry and brother-in-law Glen Henry of Gainesville. 

She is survived by her loving husband Walt Michely of 30 years, son; Reid Fallyer and daughter-in-law Leighanne Williams Fallyer, granddaughters; Aubrey and Ella Fallyer of Jacksonville, FL. Son; Brian Michely and daughter-in-law Karla, granddaughter Kelsy Michely of Naples, FL. Sisters; Sharon Richardson and brother-in-law Dennis Richardson of LaGrange, Shelia Williams Nix of Gainesville, nieces; Beth Richardson Doerr and her husband Jimmy Doerr of LaGrange, Jennifer Kesler Bagwell and her husband William Bagwell Jr. of Lula, nephews; Ricky Richardson of Atlanta, Zachary Nix and his wife Caroline Nix of Gainesville. 

Visitation for Mrs. Michely will be Monday December 5, 2016 from 11 -12 p.m. at Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Phil Williams officiating, with interment to follow at Alta Vista Cemetery.
