Mrs. Marie (Wright) Brownlow

Mrs. Marie Brownlow, 87 of Gainesville died Monday August 29, 2016 at her residence.

Born in Jackson County, Mrs. Brownlow had lived in Hall County for a number of years.  She was the daughter of the late Toy and Klora Sealey Wright.  Mrs. Brownlow had worked at New Holland Mill for a number of years and had also worked at Brenda's Restaurant for over 25 years. She was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Brownlow, Gainesville; son, Stan Brumbalow, Cumming; daughter, Sueject Matthews, Jasper; grandchildren, Troy Brumbalow, Cumming; Brady Brumbalow, Dahlonega;  Crystal Jones, Gainesville; Chad Matthews, Cumming; Chea Greeson, Gainesville; Roni Matthews-Elder, Jasper; great grandchildren, Zachary Brumbalow, Riley Brumbalow, Hannah Brumbalow, Morgan Jones, Sydney Braswell, Drake Braswell and Ricky Elder.

Mrs. Brownlow is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Claudine Culpepper.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday August 31, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Jackson County.  Rev. Kenny Sizemore will officiate.  The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Wednesday August 31 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
