Nora Jane Williams

Nora Jane Williams, age 73, of Gainesville, GA went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, August 6, 2017 surrounded by family and friends.

Jane was born in Gainesville, GA on April 5, 1944 to the late Lloyd Jackson and Edith Burtz Campbell.  “Jane was born into the Kingdom of God on September 11, 1957” as her childhood Bible noted.  She previously attended Central Baptist Church and Lanier Hills Church.  She loves Jesus, her family and her many friends.  She had a big heart and a love for all people.  She cherished spending her time with family, friends, fishing, traveling and cheering on Georgia Tech.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Frank Campbell, brother Jeffrey Campbell and niece Cheryl Lance.

Jane leave behind her loving  husband of 47 years, David Williams, daughter Edith “Eydie” and husband Cale Hulsey, daughter Stephanie and husband Brent Loggins, only son David Williams and friend Helen Cartledge, sister Faye Grizzle, brother Jack Campbell and wife Nikki, sister Judy Carder and husband Ray, brother Babe Campbell and wife Debbie, brother John Campbell, brother Timothy Campbell and sister Joy Cruse and husband Bobby, grandchildren Tyler Hulsey, Brooke Webb and husband Dalton, Beth Hulsey, Skye Loggins, Flint Loggins, great grandchildren Lily Grace Webb and Sawyer Hulsey, 12 nieces and nephews, special friends Tommie and Roy Miller and Vicki and Wendell Masters, as well as several other cherished family and friends she so dearly beloved. 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday August 8, 2017 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. Danny Newbern and Rev. Brian Armour will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Tuesday August 8, 2017 at the funeral home from 1-3 p.m.
