Randall Davidson Gailey

Randall Davidson Gailey, 91 of Gainesville passed away Monday October 16, 2017 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mr. Gailey was the son of the late Wayne and Rita Whitmire  Gailey.  Mr. Gailey served in the United States Army during World War II and was retired from General Motors with over 38 years of service.  Mr. Gailey was a member of the Greater Love Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughters, Donna Brekke and Colleen Pittman, both of Gainesville; grandchildren, Ashley Pittman, Lula; B.J. Pittman, Gainesville; Adrianna Pittman, Gainesville; great grandchild, Corbin Pittman; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Jeff and Glenda Gailey, Talmo;  sisters-in-law, Mildred Gailey, Gainesville; Barbara Gailey, Baldwin; Nell Dale, Gainesville; brother-in-law, Carlton Clark, Gainesville.  A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Mr. Gailey is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Eunice Irene Dale Gailey.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday October 19, 2017 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. Keith Truelove and Rev. Jeff Gailey will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday October 17, 2017 from 6-8  p.m. and  Wednesday October 18, 2017 from 6-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to Gideons International, P.O. Box 2914, Gainesville, GA  30503 in memory of Mr. Gailey
