I am sorry to hear of Diane's passing. I have fond memories of sitting with her at many of Kelley and David's basketball and baseball games as well as other community events. David loved going to your house and we always knew he was well taken care of there (remember the bee's nest?) She was a sweet, sweet spirit and I know she will be greatly missed. Much love to your family and prayers for comfort during this difficult time.

I graduated from SHHS with Diane in 1971. She was always s dear and sweet friend and while she has left us too soon, I know that she is singing a new song in Heaven. As Christians, we have that wonderful hope of being with Jesus and each other again.
I am praying for you Wade and the rest of the family in your loss of Diane but rest assured you know where she is and we will all be with her again. Love and Hugs to all.

I can close my eyes and remember you singing Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, There's just something about that name.
What a beautiful voice and beautiful person.
Diane, I will never forget how you took care of me when my brother Clayton passed away in 1973. You were there for me at the hospital and through out that horrible weekend. You have always been very special to me.
I can't wait to see you again and hear you sing directly to our savior, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.
Love and prayers.

My Dearest Niece Diane will truly be missed. Her presence could light up the room, her smile was for everyone, her love ran deep, and her courageous fight against cancer is a battle she has won.

I'm not the only aunt who had a special love for a niece. Ours was more as sisters since I am only three years older than she. I'll never forget our dressing alike, going to basketball games, to church, to school dances and double dating. Then meeting our true loves and our weddings. Within a few years we were raising our sons and watching them grow up. Our many vacations over the years. So many memories I will always treasure.

My heart is aching. But I do know Diane is resting peacefully with our Lord and Savior, and that brings me comfort.

Much love to Wade, Steven, Amanda, Dylan, Jacob, Kella, Kelley, Martha, Darwin, Morgan and Cameron

Diane has and always will hold a special place in my heart. From our jogs and long talks when we were neighbors 35 years ago, to scrapbooking just a few years back, she was a big influence and wonderful friend. Diane was a beautiful lady inside and out. I feel privileged that I was allowed to have her in my life. My prayers and sympathy are with you all.

As an Aunt of Diane I have many memories to cherish. I remember her as a child playing in the yard of my parents and enjoying the flowers and pets.

I also taught her in Sunday School and sang in the choir together. She had a beautiful soprano voice and was willing to sing solos with two favorites being "Jesus, Jesus,Jesus" and "I see Jesus Standing at the Father's Right Hand".

She loved children and many special ed students were blessed to have her as their teacher and friend.

After being a cancer survivor for 10 years, she was diagnosed with cancer again about one year ago. She fought gallantly and with faith. Now the battle is over, the victory and won and she is singing" Jesus, Jesus, Jesus" in her new home.

Dear Friends,

Please take comfort in knowing that Diane is only gone from you for a short while, that she is well and whole, and awaits each of us in that special place reserved for those who have died in Christ.

You have temporarily lost your wife, momma, grandmother, aunt, and sister. We have temporarily lost our schoolmate, friend and neighbor. But we who remain behind, can look forward to that great reunion in Heaven which awaits the saved of earth who have trusted in Christ for our salvation.

Our love to each of you, and our pledge of constant support in all the days that are appointed for us until we meet again on that other shore.

Your Friends and Neighbors,
Ralph, Bevie Jo, and Family
