Rose Marie (Procick) Gorby

Rose Marie Gorby, 76, of Gainesville, GA, passed on June 1^st, 2017 due to complications after a medical procedure.

Rose Marie was born in Lowellvile, OH to Joseph and Francis Procick on February 13, 1941 and was a graduate of Hubbard High School.

Rose Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Gorby and son, Donald Benish. Rose Marie is survived by her children, Daniel J Benish, David J Benish and Lisa M Hyatt along with her grandchildren; Kelly, Brittany, Chelsea, Dylan, Jordan, Mitchell and Derek. Rose Marie only had one great grandchild, Johana.

Rose Marie was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed crafting, baking, spending time with family, her canine companion, Shorty and following her grandson’s football endeavors. She will be missed during family gatherings because of her humor, competitiveness and confidence. Rose Marie also loved her conversations with family and friends.

A small memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday June 4^th, 2017 at Little Davenport Funeral Home, located at 355 Dawsonville Hwy Gainesville, GA 30501.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions and condolences may be sent to 3454 Westgate Dr. Gainesville, GA 30504 and will be donated to a charity that was dear to Rose Marie. The family would like to give a special thanks to Mountain Medical for their loving care and kindness and to Dawn and Shirley for bringing joy and friendship.
