Ruth Wilson Holcomb

 Ruth Wilson Holcomb was born in Gainesville, Georgia to John Edward and Odell Allison.

Ruth passed away Sunday, March 22nd, in Georgetown, Texas, where she has been living with her husband Bill, daughter Kathy, and son-in-law Rick.

Ruth’s husband is a retired United Methodist pastor and she faithfully served several churches in the North Georgia Conference by his side until his retirement.

She is survived by her husband Bill; three daughters, Kathy, Laurie, and Emily; sons-in-law, Rick and Loic; daughter-in-law Sylvia; and grandchildren Ashleigh, Elizabeth, Emily, Kacie, Rainie, and Annalise.

Ruth was preceded in death by her daughter Allison.

Visitation has been scheduled for Saturday, March 28th from 11-1 at Little & Davenport Funeral Home in Gainesville, Georgia. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 1 pm the same day, followed by a graveside service at Alta Vista Cemetery.
