Samuel Maurice Montgomery

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 14, 2017 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home for Mr. Maurice Montgomery 79 of Cleveland, Ga.

Mr. Montgomery died Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

The Rev. Dennis Taylor will officiate with interment to follow in Alta Vista Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 6-8pm.

Mr.  Montgomery was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Hugh and Sarah Francis Thompson Montgomery, and his wife, Patricia Ann Crane Montgomery.

Mr. Montgomery served in the U. S. Air Force, and was retired from Gainesville Industrial Electric Co. after 49 years. He was an avid hunter & fisherman. He also attended Trinity Full Gospel Church in Cleveland, Ga.

Mr.  Montgomery is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Teresa & Kim Truelove of Cleveland, Ga.; son & daughter-in-law, Samuel & Sandy Montgomery of Alto, Ga.; son, Tim Montgomery of Cleveland, Ga.; 7 Grandchildren & 12 Great Grandchildren.
