Virginia Burell (Wilson) Burch

Virginia Burell  Burch, 85, of Lula passed away on Monday, November 17, 2014 following a period of declining health.

Born in East Point, Ga on July 4, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Myrtise Juette Trail Wilson.  She had lived in Hall County for most of her life. Mrs. Burch was a member of Church of Christ.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James Willard Burch; son, Judson Wilson Burch; grandson, Harvey David Smith and sister, Edith (Starr) Baechler.

Mrs. Burch is survived by her daughter and son in law, Janice and Johnny Wilson of Caneyville, KY; daughter and boyfriend, Susan Burch Smith and John McNeal of Buford, Ga; daughters, Jamie Lee of Lula, Ga., Constance Baechler of Berkley, CA., Brenda Lee Walley of Lula, Ga.; grandchildren, Robert (Amber) Smith, Donald (Cindy) Burch, Michael (Nicole) Smith, Chris (Megan) Taylor, Jeremy Lee; great-grandchildren, Schuyler Layla Marie, Chance and Dakota Smith, Eli and Daniel Burch, Trevor and Amy Smith, Layla and Zayne Taylor, Gracelynn Taylor, Quincy Lynlee, Kylie Layne and Xavier Drake Smith, Caleb and Sunny Johnson, special friends, Pedro “NoBody” Myers, Harvey Smith, Rog and a number of nieces and nephews. Special friends from American Legion Riders, known to them as Motorcycle Mama.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 21, 2014 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Dr. Kenneth Barrett will officiate. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. in Stripling Cemetery in Carrollton, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 19th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, November 20th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
