I've heard of William Gilbert all my life. I wished I could have met him. He was friends with my mama and daddy when he lived in Banks County. I've heard 50 stories about daddy, Don Smith, Ernest Simmons and William Gilbert. All my family is from Hollingsworth a small community in North Banks County & that's where William grew up. Sure wished I could have met him. I just told my daddy that he died. Sorry for the family. Tim Simmons

Extending my Deepest Sympathy to you Dorothy. You know how much William is loved in our Family and how many times he brought so much joy to Farris. I was visiting my Sister and Family at same time William came to visit, he kept us laughing with his quick and creative wit. His love of family was so evident and he brought them a special gift that he made personally that meant everything to them. We will never forget his kindness and genuine love.

I enjoyed our conversation recently and you will most definitely be in my Thoughts and Prayers. With much Love....
