Brenda Joyce (McDaniel) Wages

Brenda Joyce Wages, age 81, of Clermont, Ga, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in 1942, to the late Raymond and Blondine McDaniel. She graduated from Tucker High School in 1961, and then enrolled in  business college. She was married to the love of her life, Jim Wages in 1962, and they lived in California while Jim served in the United States Army. They moved to Stone Mountain in 1970 where they worked together building their electrical company. Later, they moved to Skitts Mountain in 1997, where they retired. She was a very active member at Concord Baptist Church in Clermont, GA, where she adored teaching Sunday School. Brenda enjoyed volunteering at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in the maternity ward and nursing center. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Lester Wages, and brother Morris McDaniel.

She is survived by her children, Tim (Amy) Wages and Clifford (Theresa) Wages; and grandchildren; Erin and Matthew; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held, Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Little and Davenport Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Samaritan Purse in memory of Brenda.
