William "Jerry" Browning

William "Jerry" Browning, 77 of Flowery Branch passed away Thursday April 4, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Left to cherish memories of a life well lived are his wife of 53 years, Nelda S. Browning; sister-in-law and brother-in-law,Marie and Walter Taylor of Blountville, TN; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Jane Swafford; nephews Lanier and Amy Swafford and their children Brendan and Bailey; Jason and Shelby Swafford and their children, Rachel, Ben and Jack all of Dawsonville. He is also survived by several cousins.

Preceding him in death were his parents George and Eunice Browning, father-in-law and mother-in-law Roy and Verna Swafford and nephews Jeff and Dennis Taylor.

The family expresses deep appreciation for the wonderful unwavering care provided by the Agape Hospice Staff and caregivers Judy Roper, Connie Dills and Tracie Cheatham.

The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Saturday April 6 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held Sunday April 7, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at the Guthrie Grove Church of God Cemetery in Pelzer, South Carolina. Rev. Ed Bender will officiate.
