Beulah (Roberts) Evans

Beulah Roberts Evans, 100, passed away August 6, 2018 at Bell Minor Nursing Home. 

Mrs. Evans was born August 3, 1918 to Charley and Laura (Stephens) Roberts in Commerce, Georgia, the next to the youngest of 8 siblings.  She had lived most of her adult life in Gainesville, Hall, Georgia.

She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.  She had worked for 44 years at Gainesville Mill.

She was a hard worker and a good, Strong woman and she will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Aquilla Evans, her son, Reeves Evans and all 7 of her siblings.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Evelyn Evans of Gainesville; her Granddaughter Tracey (Doug) Knights, of Colorado; three Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; and a special niece and caregiver, Bonnie Roberts Broome.

A special thanks goes to the staff at Bell Minor for their kind and loving care of Mrs. Evans. 

Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 2414 Athens Highway, Gainesville, GA. 30507.  Rev. Craig Broome and Rev. Brian Malcom will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 10:00-12:00 p.m.
