My sincere condolences for the loss of your Husband. I know that losing a mate can be a difficult time in life.
There is a wonderful hope that God will bring our dead loved ones back to life on earth so they can enjoy living forever in peace. Acts 24:15 Ps 37:11,29.
Imagine the day when there are no more tears of sorrow and death and pain are gone forever. Rev 21:3,4
I hope that you will find comfort in these promises.

Im so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. He is forever in your hearts but I know he will be sorely missed.
My first memory of him is on the school bus. I was in elementary school at Main Street and the bus would pick up the kids in Lakeshore Heights. He would get off at the Junior High school with his books tucked under his arm. His shirt was always tucked in (I guess everyone's was back then.) In retrospect, I think I can picture Charlie...much ..in the same pose.
Decades later, I would see ya'll come to Centennial for the kids' stuff. Doug would be in his overalls. It took me a little while to put those two "mental pictures" together. But in this picture..Doug talked! hahah At that time, I was another second grade teacher across the pod from Pat Carney's room. Good times!
I know you will feel God's comforting presence as you work your way through this challenge. Hugs.

Please accept my condolence. I know this is a very difficult time, but, your family and friends are here to provide you with comfort and support that you need in the coming day ahead. May you also draw comfort to in knowing to that our creator has lovingly provided through his son and his word a hope for our dead love ones. Please take a moment to read Jesus words at John 5:28, 29 regarding the resurrection hope.
