I knew Bud in my early days at Vicks. When I joined the company in 1968, I went into sales training, and he was my supervisor. I had a great experience with him, and he taught me a lot. We always had great interactions, and I had great respect for him for his skills, very positive nature, and genuine support of me. As I've recently retired, it's given me time to reflect on the important people who influenced my life and success. He was one of them. I offer his family my sincere condolences and regrets that I didn't keep up our friendship over the years while he was alive. I offer my tributes to a great man and friend.

Worked for Bud at Vicks in Oradell, N.J. He was a great guy to work for, a fine gentleman and a lover of pizza smothered in garlic. So sorry for your loss.

Barb , Daughter and all the McCurran family, please accept our deepest sympathy and prayers over the loss of Buddy.
We were VERY GOOD FRIENDS IN HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE, we played ball together and were together often , in both South Orange and at the shore. Over the past several years i would see him at The Landings and later we would chat by phone... I will miss my very special friend.

Barb and ladies,

It is with great distress that Sue and I learned of Buddy’s death. I was particularly devastated at the news. As a proud member of the Seton Hall Prep Class of 1960 , Bud and I were friends since 1956, our freshman year. He was a four-sport athlete and on the varsity team of all of them.

We all got together for the 50th reunion in 2010. Last year Seton Hall Prep entered Bud into its Hall of Fame. I have posted pictures on the picture page.

God bless Bud who served this nation, his school, his friends and his family. We are deeply pained and words are of no help in expressing the sorrow we feel at this moment – our sincere condolences. May the memories of him comfort you forever.

Barbara and Girls: I knew Buddy from the first day at the Prep. We played basketball all four years. He was the consummate "great guy" my prayers are with you and the entire McCurran family
