Evelyn Agnes (Mimbs) Grier

Evelyn Agnes Mimbs-Grier, 73, of Gainesville, peacefully joined her heavenly family on September 29, 2017.  Evelyn was born on July 7, 1944 in Blytheville, AR., to the late William Howard “Fatboy” Mimbs Sr. and Carmen Costas-Mimbs.

Before settling in Gainesville to be close to family, Evelyn lived in Puerto Rico , New York and various places in Georgia.  She loved gardening, arts and crafts, scrap booking and anything Christmas related.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn is preceded in death by her 2 brothers, Alfredo Louise and William Howard “Bill” Mimbs Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Bernice Grier-McBride and son, William Ansel “Andy” Grier Jr., and Grandsons, Lucas Adam and Levi Alexander McBride.

Visitation will be Monday October 2, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be held Tuesday October 3, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church, East Dublin, GA.
