Geraldine "Geri" (Lanier) Braswell

Mrs. Geraldine "Geri" L. Braswell, 94 of Gainesville passed away Saturday November 24, 2018 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A native of Metter, Ga., Mrs. Braswell had lived in Hall County since 1986.  She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Lois Lane Lanier.  Mrs. Braswell was retired from Belk where she worked as customer service representative and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Kathie Braswell, Dawsonville; sister, Jacqueline Tillery, Metter; grandchildren, Laura Young, Gainesville and Perrie and Zack Tatum, Chestnut Mountain; great grandchildren, Merrie Young, Gracie Young and Hazel Tatum; nephew, Danny Tillery, Metter.

Mrs. Braswell is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Wilbur R. "Doc" Braswell.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday November 27, 2018 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. Mike Taylor will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday November 29, 2018 at the Lake Cemetery in Metter, Georgia. 

The family will also receive friends at Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Home in Metter, Ga. Wednesday November 28, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to Trinity Baptist Church, 989 Dawsonville Highway, Gainesville, Ga. 30501 or one's favorite charity in memory of Mrs. Braswell.
