Homer Carlisle

Homer Carlisle, age 81, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017.

Homer was a lifelong resident of Hall County, born to Roy and Willie Strickland Carlisle.   He worked in construction, retiring from Mooney Manufacturing. 

Homer was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Emma Ruth Brown Carlisle. 

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Betty and Dwight Grammer; son and daughter-in-law Lamar and Anita Carlisle; grandsons, Kevin Carlisle, Michael William Herrington, Christopher Daniel Grammer, and Jason Anthony Grammer; and sister, Mildred (Buddy).                                                                                                  

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Little & Davenport Chapel.  Rev. Mike Pruitt and Rev. Dennis West will officiate.  Interment will follow in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 3:00–5:00 p.m.
