Howard Kelley Obituary

Mr. Howard Gordon Kelley, age 83, of Gainesville, GA passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at his residence. 

Born in Forsyth County, he was a lifetime resident of Hall County.  He served in the United States Army in Germany, and retired from Tyson Foods as a field representative.  Howard was a member of Chicopee Baptist Church. 

Mr. Kelley was the son of the late Homer Howard Kelley, Sr. and Lucy Kelley. 

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Rugena Hanes Kelley; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Donna Kelley of Gainesville; daughter, Lesa Kelley Osborn of Suwanee; grandchildren, Kenzie Kelley of Gainesville and Alexandra Radford of Braselton; great-grandchildren, Tristen and Cash Radford of Braselton; brother and sister-in-law, “Junior” and Evelyn Kelley of Cleveland. 

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2018 in the chapel of Little Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. Clyde Self and Rev. Phil Carpenter will officiate.  Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2018.
