James Franklyn Hahn Jr. passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 after a short illness at the age of 80. Jim was born and raised in Boardman, Ohio and lived for many years in Manlius, New York before retiring to Gainesville, Georgia in 2015. He was predeceased by his parents, Gertrude and James F. Hahn and his sister, Jeanne Hahn Timko.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; his son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Amy Hahn of Keller, Texas; his daughter, Kimberly Ann Hahn of Atlanta, Georgia; his grandson, Jason Zachary Hahn of Boston, Massachusetts and his granddaughter, Stacy Lynn Hahn of Keller, Texas; his sister-in-law and husband, Marion and Steve Hunt of Marlton, New Jersey; his brother-in-law and wife, Ed and Colleen Bowman of Ambler, Pennsylvania; his niece, Alexa Jane Bowman of Ambler, Pennsylvania and his nephew, Terry Timko of Cincinnati, Ohio.
He received his undergraduate engineering degree from Case Western University in Cleveland, Ohio, and graduate degrees from George Washington University and Syracuse University. He retired as Vice President & General Manager of Traffic Control Technologies, Inc. and worked for many years as a consulting engineer for Robson Forensic of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
