John Thomas Smith, Jr.

John T. Smith Jr, our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend, died at his home on Wednesday, January 1, 2020.

A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 1:00pm at the Little-Davenport Funeral Home, 355 Dawsonville Highway; Gainesville GA 30501. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home prior to the service at 12:00 noon.

John served his country in the U.S. Navy Reserves for 30 years and was a respected member of The First Baptist Church of Gainesville, GA.

John is preceded by his parents John T. Smith Jr. and Mable Rice Smith.  He is survived by his wife, Mary Anne Foster Smith, his two daughters, Celia D. Fisher and Constance R. Smith; Along with his sister, Betty Tenney and her husband Robert Tenney and their sons Scott and Robert Tenney.  Also surviving are his two grandsons Jonathan T. Fisher and Robert C. Fisher III.
