Joseph C. Pritchett, Jr.

Joseph C. Pritchett, Jr., 75 of Gainesville passed away Thursday June 7, 2019 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mr. Pritchett was the son of the late J.C. and Thelma Lee Humphries Pritchett.  Mr. Pritchett served in the United States Army and was retired from the Internal Revenue Service.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Shirley Pritchett, Dahlonega; nephew and spouse, Aaron and Michelle Pritchett, Valdosta; niece and spouse, Jeanne and Chris Welch, Dahlonega; 3 great nephews and 1 great niece also survive.

Mr. Pritchett is preceded in death by his parents, paternal grandparents, Ed and Victoria Pritchett; maternal grandparents, Aaron and Maude Humphries.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 15, 2019 at the Memorial Park Cemetery.  Rev. Philip McQueen will officiate.  The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Friday June 14, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions please be made to Mavuno Ministries, P.O. Box 3421, Gainesville, Ga. 30503 in memory of Mr. Pritchett.
