Josephine Augustina (Ciresi) Stone

Josephine (Johann)  Augustina Ciresi Stone, 79 of Gainesville passed away Thursday January 31, 2019 at her residence.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Donald Stone, Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Karen Stone, Cumming; son, Gary Stone, Nipomo, California; granddaughters, Katie Stone, Emily Stone and Danielle Stone; brother and sister-in-law, Pat Ciresi (Margo), Deerfield Beach, Florida; sister, Judy Grassell, Oregon, Illinois; sister and brother-in-law, Kathie Specht (Dave), Scottsdale, Arizona; brother and sister-in-law, Larry Stone (Carol), Mt. Prospect, Illinois.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday February 8, 2019 at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Dawson County.  Father Brian J. Higgins will serve as celebrant.  Entombment  will follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery Mausoleum.  The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Thursday February 7 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  The family will host a reception at the Harbour Point Clubhouse following the entombment at the Alta Vista Cemetery Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions please be made to the American Cancer Society, 2565 Thompson Bridge Road, Suite 114, Gainesville, Ga. 30501 in memory of Josephine (Johann) Stone.
