Lane C. Bennett

Lane C. Bennett, beloved husband age 90 passed away with family by his side at his residence on Thursday October 4, 2018.

Born in Forsyth County, Mr. Bennett had lived in Hall County for most of his life.  He was the son of the late Issac and Mae Stripland Bennett.  He was retired from Schering-Plough Corporation.  Mr. Bennett  was a member of First Baptist Church on Green Street.

Survivors include his wife, Lela Pirkle Bennett; son and daughter-in-law, Sherman and Sara Bennett; daughter, Ann Bennett Shepherd; granddaughter, Brandy Bennett Migliore Ansley and her husband, Adam Howe; grandson, Dylan Shepherd; great grandson, Chandler Migliore; great granddaughters, Charissa Migliore and Hayden Howe.

The family would like to say a special thanks for their caregiver, Teresa Brown.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday October 6, 2018 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. Bruce Fields will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Saturday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church, Ministry of Caring, 751 Green Street, Gainesville, Ga 30501.
