Shelly,,, I’m so sorry. I didn’t know. I would have come to see you. I would’ve done your hair. You’ve always been so beautiful. Inside and out. I’ll see you again Shelly.

Shelley, you are a kind, sweet person. You exhibited much grace and mercy and were always so generous. Thank you for being such a good friend to my sister, Kim. She loved and loves you dearly and so do I. Because of our bond in Jesus, we are separated for only a short time until we meet again. You will be missed, but the investments you have made in others live on.

Precious memories. I met Shelley in the early eighties when I was a transport nurse. She always made me laugh. We met many times over the years at conferences and always enjoyed catching up with each other. When she came to work at Emory it was a special reunion of our friendship. Special also was our shared love of the Lord Jesus Christ. Prayers for Joy, peace, and comfort to her loving family. Janet Thigpen

I was so saddened to hear of Shelley's passing. She was such a sweet and smart person who's smile lit up the room. I had the pleasure of working with her at NEGMC and thought so highly of her. I think of her every year as I decorate my Christmas tree. She gave me a beautiful cross stitched angel ornament, and I treasure it. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
