Ann (Lewis) Bailey

Ann Bailey (née Lewis), born on April 14, 1935, in Sharon, Tennessee, passed away peacefully in her home on September 30, 2025, in Gainesville, Georgia. She was 90 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Estes Bailey. 

She is survived by her three children: Elaine Bailey of Franklin, Tennessee; Bryan Bailey (Lisa) of Austin, Texas; and Laura Gale (Tim) of Flowery Branch, Georgia; eight grandchildren–Rachel Bailey, Sarah Beth Bell, David Bell, Caleb Bailey, Elizabeth Gale, Andrew Gale, James Bailey, and Matthew Gale; and two great-grandchildren.

Ann loved cooking and feeding her family and teaching Sunday School as long as she was able. She also enjoyed many pets over the years and her faithful cat, Bailey, never left her side in her final days.

There will be a private interment at Tansil Cemetery in Sharon, Tennessee on Tuesday, October 7.
