Arlene Lundy Barker

Arlene Lundy Barker, 64 of Gainesville passed away Wednesday November 17, 2021 at her residence.

Born in Dekalb County, Ms. Barker had lived in Hall County for most of her life.  She was the daughter of the late Norris Jackson Lundy and Marylene Slater Lundy Stoner.  Ms. Barker was retired from Marel Company, where she worked as an office manager.  She was a member of Northlake Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Mike Barker, Gainesville; brothers, Joe T. Smith, Gainesville; David Smith, Carnesville; Ricky Smith, Gainesville; a number of nieces, nephews and other family members also survive.

Ms. Barker is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Earl "Jacky" Lundy and Billy M. Smith; sister, Martha Lundy Brown.

Funeral services will be held Saturday November 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. Danny Jones will officiate.  A private family interment will be held at the Alta Vista Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
