Augustus Ralph Morrow, Jr.

Augustus Ralph Morrow, Jr., 87 of Gainesville passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 after a long fought battle with Alzheimer's.

A private family service will be held.

Mr. Morrow was born June 16, 1931 in Chestnut Mountain, GA to the late Augustus Ralph Morrow and Vera Mae Hayes.  He was a meat market manager at Howard's and Kroger for most of his career and a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.  Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Doris, his sister Jimmie Sue Morrow Pruitt, and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Betty and Calvin Whiting.

Mr. Morrow is survived by his son and daughter-in-law John and Susan Morrow of Gainesville, GA, daughters and sons-in-law Deborah and John Sawyer, Gainesville, GA, Amy and Lindy Stovall of Talmo, GA, grandchildren, John "Clint" Morrow of Lawrenceville, GA, Austin "Chad" and Kimberley Morrow of Spartanburg, SC and their mother Sharon Morrow, John "Jack" and Angela Sawyer of Reading, MA, Abigail and Hannah Stovall of Talmo, GA, great-grandchildren, Amelia Morrow and her mother Aimee of Lawrenceville, GA, Madison and Ray Morrow of Spartanburg, SC, John "Jack" and Georgia Sawyer, Reading, MA, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Miriam and Ralph Williams of Gainesville, GA, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Shirley Moore of Burnsville, Minnesota, and Roger and Shirley Moore of Flowery Branch, GA.
