Barbara Segraves Stevens, 86, of Fitzgerald , Georgia went home to be with the Lord on July 24, 2024. Barbara is survived by her husband, Jim, her daughters, Marion and Emily, and her four grandchildren. While she resided in her Decatur home over 60 years, she spent her final year with her daughter and youngest grandchildren in Gainesville, Georgia. Barbara was a beloved teacher who touched the lives of many students over the course of more than 30 years. In her retirement, Barbara was an avid reader and gardener, and she enjoyed playing the role of "Ba" to her grandchildren. In accordance with her final wishes, Barbara will be buried in her hometown of Fitzgerald, Georgia.
