Barbara Yaunt

Barbara Yaunt, age 86, of Gainesville, GA passed away August 25, 2025.

Barbara was predeceased by her loving husband John and survived by her daughters, Marianne Yaunt and Sarah Raup, son-in-law Peter Raup and her much loved grandchildren Zachary, Henry, Natalie, Russell and Andrew. 

Barbara and John grew up in Allison Park, PA and were long time residents until moving to Georgia to be closer to family. Barbara’s love of books and reading led her to career at Carnegie Mellon University as head of circulation.  To continue her passion for books, she volunteered in her retirement community’s library.  She loved travelling with John to foreign countries to learn about different cultures.
