Barbara Ann (Barnes) Buice

Barbara Ann Barnes Buice, 77 of Gainesville passed away Saturday October 23, 2021 at her residence.

Born in White County, Mrs. Buice had lived in Hall County for most of her life.  She was the daughter of the late Fred, Sr. and Fannie Hill Barnes.  She was employed at Wal Mart where she had worked for a number of years as a greeter and in the garden department.  Mrs. Buice was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Hubert Leon Buice, Gainesville; children, Jeff and Anita Buice, Gainesville; Jennifer Williams and James Smullin; Gainesville; grandchildren; Tiffany Clark and BillieJo Clark;  Franklin Lance and Angela Brown; Casey Buice; Ashley Griggs (Jamie); Justin Buice (Ashley);  8 great grandchildren;  and brother and sister-in-law; Fred Barnes, Jr. and Inez; Gainesville; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. Buice is preceded in death by her parents, son, Joel Buice and a number of brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 26, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church.  Rev. Raymond Latty will officiate.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Monday October 25 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and  6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
