Betty Jean Haff, 70, of Gainesville passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026, following an extended illness.
Jean was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary Lou Ward. She was a graduate of North Hall High School and worked as a city mail carrier until her retirement. Jean was a member of Prospect Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Carrie Haff and Shane and Amy Haff; grandchildren, Blakely Haff Tipton and husband, Alec, Bailey Haff Smallwood and husband AJ, Carlee Haff; great granddaughter, Parker Smallwood; sister and brother-in-law, Sadie and Frank Ford; brother and sister-n-law, Charles and Jean Ward.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Little Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Ricky Stone, Rev. Jason Buffington and Rev. Phillip Gillespie will officiate. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 12, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
