Carolyn Jeanett (Ledbetter) Garrett

Carolyn Jeanett Garrett, 73 of Gainesville passed away Sunday May 28, 2023, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Gainesville.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Mrs. Garrett had lived in Hall County since 1971.  She was the daughter of the late Emmett and Mary Newsome Ledbetter.  Mrs. Garrett was retired from Southern Marketing Insurance Company where she worked as an agent along with her husband Bob for over 42 years. She was a member of Restoration Worship Center/ formerly known as Murrayville Congregational Holiness Church.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Rev. Robert "Bob" Garrett, Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law, Stacy Michelle Stephens (Joel), Flowery Branch, son and daughter-in-law, Bobby Garrett (Julie), Gainesville, grandchildren, Ava Garrett, Rob and Ryan Stephens, great grandchildren, Harlan and Emma Stephens, sisters, Joyce Hardeman, Conyers, Pat Garrett, Braselton, brother, Scott Ledbetter, Alto. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. Garrett is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Betty Nation and brother, Billy Ledbetter.

Funeral services will be held Thursday June 1, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Restoration Worship Center in Murrayville. Rev. Scott Ledbetter and Rev. Adam Johnson will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday May 31 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Thursday June 1 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Little & Davenport Funeral Home.
