Charles “Corey Keys”, 53, of Senoia, Georgia, entered into rest on January 6th, 2024 in Conyers, Georgia.
Corey is survived by his mother Jeannie, His step-father Jimmie, three children: Skyler, Gavin, and Sloane, one grand-baby Tylen. His two Brothers Michael and Larry, and his two sisters Angel and Tina, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Corey was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado March 18th, 1970. He grew up with his 2 brothers and 2 sisters, and he was raised by his mother Jeannie.
He then moved to Omaha, Nebraska, and had 3 children, and eventually settled down in Georgia and raised his children. Corey was a diesel mechanic for 35+ years. He worked at Teamsters Local 728 in the film industry and he also was a truck driver, He loved life on the road and looking at all the beautiful scenery. He embodied the best of qualities: unconditional love, strength of spirit, and unending generosity; He touched so many lives. He was hands down the best son, father, papa, brother, and friend. He was the most selfless, down-to-earth man. He would make you laugh until your stomach hurt, He was a giver rather than a taker and had a healing spirit. To know him is to love him. He worked so hard to provide and always made sure everyone was taken care of. His departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and it is gravely felt by his entire family and countless others who loved him deeply in his life. The family greatly appreciates all of the support in this difficult time.
