Charlotte Bullington Obituary

Charlotte Anne Bullington, 80, of Oakwood, GA passed away quietly at her home, surrounded by her loved ones on August 5th, 2024 after a protracted period of declining health. Anne, as she preferred to be called, (or Nana to those closest to her) was born in Columbus, GA; the daughter of Ruby and Henry Tidd. She is survived by her two siblings, Laurie Brooks and Tommy Tidd; her two children, Alicia Greenlow and Keith Carson; her four grandchildren, Blake Moulder, Paris Carson, Lyric Chambers-Carson, and Krystle Greenlow; and her four great grandchildren, William "Billy" Blake Moulder, Francis "Frankie" John Moulder, Kaiden "K.J." Joseph Carson, and Liam "Super Coop" Cooper Carson. She was an aspiring artist with a talent for illustration. She worked throughout her life in secretarial positions and at various grocery stores. Always blessed with a green thumb, she particularly enjoyed making arrangements for the floral department. In between work she was an ardent gardener who loved spending time amongst her vegetables and flowers. For as long as she was able, she was always the head cook in the family; for years and years she hosted and entertained for every occasion and was always the master of ceremonies on Thanksgiving, Easter, Christmas, and New Year's, passing her tried and true recipes down to the rest of us along the way. She enjoyed music very much and her life was always animated by it, there was a song for every occasion or memory; she especially loved listening to Elvis, The Eagles, and her son Keith. More than anything, though, she loved spending time with and doting on her family. She lived for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was truly the glue that held four entire generations of family bound together, and she imparted the value of prioritizing your dependents over your self byway of her endless commitment to demonstrating unconditional love and selfless acts to those most endeared to her. She will be so greatly missed and will be carried on in all of our hearts until it's our time to meet again.
