Christopher Winn 

Chris Winn, age 48, of Woodstock, passed away Wednesday October 2nd, at home surrounded by his family after an extended battle with ALS. 

Chris is survived by his wife, Donna Winn, of Woodstock; his mother, Dahlis Winn, of Dahlonega; and his brother, Larry L. Winn and his wife Christy, of Marietta.  He was preceded in passing by his father, Larry B. Winn. 

Chris was well known for helping others in their time of need.  He loved meeting new people, and he considered everyone a friend.  Chris was a thrill seeker and always up for a new adventure.  In the last few years of his life, he was involved with the ALS community trying to help and give advice to those who were recently diagnosed.  Loved by all who met him, he will be missed immensely.

There will be a private celebration of life, family only.  Chris requested, in lieu of flowers, for those who can help one of the many ALS organizations in the fight against this disease.
