Dareen Jean (Allison) Ragan

Dareen Jean Allison Ragan, 80 of Gainesville passed away Thursday November 25, 2021 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Gainesville Campus.

Born in Jackson County, Mrs. Ragan Had lived in Hall County for most of her life.  She was the daughter of the late Tom and Stella Orr Allison.  She was a graduate of South Hall High School and worked at Sam's Club in Oakwood.  Mrs. Ragan was a member of Chestnut Mountain Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, James Timothy "Tim" Ragan, Gainesville; daughter, Paula Jean Ragan Frasier, Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Chasity Ragan and Tiffany Frasier; great grandchildren, Harley Ragan, Ashlynn Hatcher, Mallie Jean Howard; sisters, Hazel Waldrep and Ruth Allison, both of Gainesville; brothers, Larry Allison (Elaine), Jerry Allison (Melody), all of Gainesville and Ricky Allison, Flowery Branch. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday November 29, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. Boone Strickland will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Chestnut Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday November 19 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
