Dorothy Lee (Patterson) Tatum

Dorothy Lee Patterson Tatum, age 85, of Gainesville, GA, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025. She was born in 1940, to the late Bailey Joe and Gertie Mae Patterson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Fate Tatum (Doc), and her son, Freddie Tatum.

She is survived by her sons, Eddie Tatum and wife, Anita Tatum; Charley Tatum and wife, Celeste Tatum, Lamar Tatum and wife, Christy Tatum; 19 grandkids,  numerous great grandkids and great-great grandkids; and siblings, Joann Ortez, Rethil Allison, and Bill Patterson; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA with Rev. Scott Sims officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Gainesville, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
