Edythe M. Ladd Obituary

Edythe M. Ladd, 97 of Gainesville passed away Friday January 31, 2025, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville where she entered her rest and reward.

Born in Baraboo, Wisconsin, Mrs. Ladd had lived in Hall County for a number of years. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Beulah Hoege Wendt.  Mrs. Ladd worked for Ragland's Book Store for a number of years, and was a member of Sardis Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Jerry Funderburk, Demorest, Ga., sons and daughters-in-law, Dan and Angie Ladd, Jeff and Iris Ladd, all of Gainesville, grandchildren, Robin Pruitt, Jauhn Stephens, Drake Funderburk, Shaun Ladd, Crystal Miyake, Heidi Sisk, Angel Cooley, Dustie Gooch, 15 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. Ladd is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Walter J. Ladd, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

Funeral services will be held Monday February 3, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Pastor Chris Thompson will officiate. Interment will follow at the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday February 2 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
